They say people of color and non white cause it’s neautral. it’s racist to say black. It’s rooted in slavery. It’s a slur. Just to explain why they say those things. But to the only important thing what would you like to be called? There’s a need to bring it out considering there’s racism and shit out and only white people run the studios and have the power. Everyone should take responsibility for that and not pretend we’re in a good place when we’re far from it. Talent isn’t in gender or color.

I don’t like “people of color” because I’m not a people of color. I’m just me. Those words feel like there are the whites on one side and ALL the others on the other side. Why would a white person be different than an Asian person, but a black person would be the same? See what I mean? I don’t care if “black” is rooted on slavery. Slavery is my, and black people’s heritage. You can’t take it from us only by changing the way you call us. If everyone feels free to call white people white (which, btw, is also rooted in slavery and white supremacy), I personally think that it should be okay to call black people black.
