I’m not the one who sent you those asks telling you to not post the photos or sometimes but I do agree that we as a whole fandom shouldn’t post them. we all know how private Gillian has always been with her family. we’ve barely gotten any pictures of her sons in the last decade and that’s because she doesn’t want it to happen. so I think we should keep respecting her and her wishes. just because she’s a celebrity doesn’t mean her kids can’t be normal kids. anyway hope you had a great vacation

That’s your choice to not post them, and mine to post them. There’s no such thing as a common decision in this fandom anyway. I’m not going to pretend those pictures don’t exist. When people chose to post the Portofino pics, I didn’t agree with that, but I didn’t come to them to tell them they shouldn’t have posted them, and I think they were way more private and problematic than those pictures with her kids. It’s just their faces, that many people knew already through social media, so really, I do not see what’s the problem. She didn’t say anything about those pictures, she didn’t express any wishes, and she always feels free to tell us when she wants us to post something or don’t talk about something. 

You’re right, they should be normal kids, which means they don’t have to stay hidden forever, they’re not babies anymore, and as long as there’s goodwill from people who chose to post them, I think it’s okay.
