I don’t get why people are so upset with the eight stand alones. Why would anyone want a bunch of episodes wasted on Mulder and Scully being stuck on that bridge and then get one episode where they search for Willy boy only to find him dead one minute before they got to him? I want these 8 episodes it’s eight episodes with a chance of getting some Mulder and Scully joined scenes and MSR. I’m thinking a follow up on this is how I want my Mulder *the agents in horizontal position Scully on too*

I love standalones. They’re the reason I watched the show in the first place and my favorite episodes are stand alones and funny stand alones. I’m trusting all the writers and directors to insert some good msr in them more than Chris Carter if he was doing 5 mythological episodes. I think we will get a little bit of mythology in every episode.
