Don’t you think it’s insulting to say there’s nothing behind any of David’s and Gillian’s tweets and that they do it for the fandom to get a kick? Because I know I would be insulted if I would tweet someone and my friends (I know we’re not their friends) or my FB feed decided I was only doing it for fun. I’ve been thinking about that and I find it distasteful. They get no promo or PR out of it, except fans say they’re sweet and cute. The fandom used to spiral. Now we’re down to « means nothing »?

That’s the difference, anon. Your friends are your friends and aren’t famous. They don’t have a public image and a fandom to entertain. I’m not saying their tweets mean nothing for each other. I’m sure Gillian is happy that today, David tweeted something for her. But knowing their in the same city and probably together as we speak, I’m sure what he did for her in real life whatever it is and that will stay private forever has way more meaning than a tweet. So yes, those tweets are for us, not for them and it has always been like that, regardless the content of those tweets.
