I think the tweet was for Gillian and David as partners as much as it was for Mulder and Scully. Iâm not sure thereâs a hidden message in it, but it was really sweet and Iâm sure thereâs nothing Gillian and David canât handle together either đ
« What’s a little mud and rain between partners. đœ » It’s like David is saying « As if a little mud and rain is a big deal for Mulder and Scully! There’s nothing they can’t handle together. » Maybe there’s a message for Gillian in there somewhere, intentionally or not. It’s certainly what my shipper heart would like to think.
