It’s been six weeks since our favorite show is back in production!! Let’s see what happened in this week.
*1. 2. 3. 4. 5. week summaries*
*Just a warning: shameless self-promotion can be found in some of the links😂*
This week was off to a slow start after the celebration and crazy tweeting for 24th Birthday of The X-files.
We did get a very aesthetic diner picture, thank you @inkcollectorus for posting it!
Gillian took another picture of David and posted it on her Instagram story: ‘Foxid Muldey, dude extraordinaire’❤️️ and daaaaamn, David looks really really good, so we kinda lost our cool for a couple of minutes(
hours)Thank you, @alienbaby-babymama for decoding Gillian’s post, I believe many of us needed it (as usual) 😂😂 Foxid Muldey=Half Fox Mulder, half David Duchovny
David tweeted an article by The Guardian discussing Climate Change. ‘As we focus on relief and repair and help for those impacted by recent weather, we can also look ahead to what needs to be done long term.’
Gillian, later on, tweeted a pic of Brick, and her suggestion was: ‘I kind of feel like brick duchovny needs a cape. #SuperBrick’ and of course, Brick did like the idea!
David tweeted his first picture from the set! ‘ Besties.👽 ‘ And it’s safe to assume that the picture was taken by Gillian.
Gillian shared a TBT, quoting Taylor Swift…’Sorry, the old Scully can’t come to the phone right now… #tbt‘
The X-files was filming in the woods on Friday, and they had a visitor on set. A bear cub. How do we know this? Gillian tweeted a picture with Mulder and Scully being absolutely fine with the bear around them. ‘David said: “What do wild bears eat, other than actresses?” #scullysnack #bearfood @davidduchovny’
Them being this calm is probably due to David’s long-lasting history with cubs which he also tweeted about. ‘Luckily we go way back… ‘
Gillian went to the Emmys. On this note, let’s mention that it was 20 years ago when she became the first actress in television history to accomplish the Golden Globe/SAG/Emmy trifecta in the same award circle, in a drama series.❤️️
Episode 4 is called Plus One and is being directed by Kevin Hooks. Karin Konoval is part of the episode, too. She is not new toThe X-files, she previously appeared as The Mother in Home and Madame Zelda in Clyde Bruckman’s Final Reponse.
Gillian also tweeted an article by The Guardian.
Brick tweeted from the set. ‘Time to make the! thexfiles #setlife #freeride Woof
18 September, wonderful day for us. TONS of David Duchovny pictures were posted on all social media platforms as they were filming at the A-maze-ing Laughter. When I say TONS, I’m not even kidding. I don’t think anyone could keep up with all the goodies we received. Here are all that I managed to reblog. *I would suggest whenever you have a bad day, just go and look at these pictures, ‘cause they are perfect and will cheer you up.*
Thanks to @super-infinite-possibilities @xf-fan1993 for being around set and taking cool pictures!
Videos of David Duchovny Films X-Files in Vancouver at A-Maze-ing Statues.
David also shared a picture of him from Monday’s filming with his always cute humour: ‘Many co-stars today’
Also, DARIN MORGAN!
And on just how f*cking good David looks as Mulder, @mangokiwitropicalswirl said it perfectly: “I’m sorry but if Scully does not jump Mulder’s bones when he’s looking that fine, she is beyond help”
There was a picture posted on Instagram which showed a pretty, red wig which might belong to Dana Scully. The wig is long and quite fancy so there are some great theories out there about a wedding, an FBI Ball…
