I’ve been trying to get a read on Gillian’s actual thoughts on Season 11. They’ve shot half the eps so she’s at least read 5-6 scripts. She always *says* the right things but I feel like you can really read behind her words about her lack of love for some of the season10 scripts and iwtb. I mean, who can blame her with some of the material she gets these days! But from NYCC I can’t get a read. I’m hoping that means she’s pleased so far, but I guess time will tell. What do you think?

It’s always hard to tell with Gillian. You can feel when she’s very excited about a project like she was for American Gods or Streetcar or even The Fall, but it’s always very different with XF. I don’t think she does it for the script, in general, either we as fans find it good or not. I think it’s just not her cup of tea in general but she does it for many other reasons. She enjoyed season 10 not for the script for because she was going to work with David and the old crew again. I think it’s pretty much the same with season 11, tbh. But I like that either she likes the story telling or not, she’ll still put her heart into it and do her best, whatever crazy lines she’ll have to tell.
