I think the quote was invented by the “journalist” tbh. It’s the daily mail. They’re not reliable. So at this point, either PM doesn’t know Gillian wasn’t married at the time of the king of Scotland came out and we can wonder if they talk to each other at all, or the journalist just assumed she was and gave PM credit for a sentence he never pronounced.
PM said this in Dailymail regarding Gilly in The Crown season 3: ‘We worked together on [2006 film] The Last King Of Scotland, but at the time we were both married and that was a lifetime ago. I would work with her again.’ This makes no sense! at the time they were both married? What does that have to do with anything?! I try to like the guy but this shows me why I just can’t.
