I have always tried to stay positive with my blog. Please forgive me for one moment while I get things off my chest.
I have been called a coward for not ‘picking sides’. I have been called a coward for staying silent. I am not a coward. If you knew anything about all that I have been through in my life, you would know that I am NOT a coward. So here it goes.
Yes, I am Gillovny. I adore the friendship/relationship that David and Gillian have. Their chemistry and magic is undeniable. That is what Gillovny is to me. Just because I consider myself Gillovny, does not mean that I support the hatred and vile things said about Peter and Gillian and/or David and whoever. It is wrong, it is wrong, it is wrong. That being said, I don’t think I have to ‘call out’ someone every time someone says something I don’t agree with or I feel is offensive to me or others. If I said something every time I saw something offensive or vile being posted, I would never get anything done and I would have packed my bags and left this fandom long ago. If all the reasonable people in this fandom weren’t choosing to ‘stay silent’, there would be an all-out war on Tumblr and what good does that do anybody. This is different than real life. This is a debate over things that make no difference to anyone in real life. Gillian and David could care less what people on Tumblr are saying about them, and trying to pretend like this is a real life ‘political’ situation is absurd. THIS IS NOT THE ‘REAL WORLD’. THIS IS TUMBLR. Taking a stand in the ‘real world’, hell yes!!! That is where it is needed and that is where it belongs.
It seems whenever there is a lull in the fandom, there are others who want to stir things up. Yes, some vile things were said by someone yesterday. I do not condone it and never will. However, if you look at the post that started all of the crap yesterday, blame needs to be placed there as well. @hmsgilligan and the 3 people that run that blog need to stop stirring shit up. All of the teasing and making fun of others and their beliefs needs to stop. These 3 bloggers felt it was their duty to ‘call out’ an individual for what they posted. We all know who these 3 are, but I will call them out. @2moms-0fucks @crossedbeams @mulderswaterbed. It is not your job to defend Peter and/or Gillian. There is no Tumblr police. You have gone way too far. The teasing and bullying needs to stop. You are not superior to anyone else in this fandom. You want me to stand up? I am standing up. I do not like what you post. It is rude and disrespectful. This shit needs to end!
I make mistakes and I have owned up to them privately and publicly. We all make mistakes and we will continue to make mistakes. We are human. A mistake should not define a person. A mistake should be learned from, forgiven, and you move on. Everyone needs to stop and look at why you came to this fandom. This fandom has been fucking awesome. I have met so many wonderful people from all over the world. This should be a happy place. This site is a fantasy. It’s not the real world. So yes, my fantasy can be all rainbows and unicorns. We should be having fun. We should be lifting each other up when another is feeling down. We should be supporting one another, not tearing each other down. If you have a question or a problem with something someone has said and/or done, go to them privately. We are adults. Have an adult conversation. Be open to listening to others opinions before you fire back with your own.
Forgive me for calling out some people. You don’t know how hard this has been for me to do. I am sorry if this post has offended or hurt anyone, but this discourse needs to stop.

This post is so important for this fandom. It is important to stand against the vitriol continuously spread in here by those three bloggers.
I guess everyone in the Gillovny fandom knew about it but it is important that it comes from you, someone who knows them and have finally seen their true colors. Those bloggers both run a blog about feminism and a horrible hateful blog about Gillian and Peter Morgan while saying how wrong it is to care about who she’s dating. They think they’re superior and better fans than Gillovny but they don’t think for one second that Gillian and Peter Morgan could hate what they do at least as much as we do. It is important that every member of this fandom, and most of all those people’s followers, know what they’re capable of only to mock and bully those who don’t share their ship. It is important that everyone knows they wouldn’t have done that on their real names and blogs because they’re too desperate for Gillian to notice them and praise their work and fake philanthropy but their hate towards one branch of the fandom was so strong they felt the need to create this horrible side blog.
