If you want to publicly show support to your boyfriend, tweet about him, not about chocolates and actresses and smile when you are being photographed (by real photographers, not paparazzi, those don’t count)
I don’t think she’s being paid, as in an exchange of money, but I think she has something to gain from it. Because if not, why would she do it?
It’s always the same pattern, she tweets about The Crown, loses followers, gets hate on social media (read the answers to her tweet, it’s a ride. It’s not even hate anymore, it’s sarcasm. Which imo, is worst because people are so over it now), She posts something like “I do what the fuck I want”, because all this gets under her skin probably more that she want to admit, and then becomes nice again to make us forget what happened.
She has nothing to gain popularity wise with those tweets and everything to lose. Nothing would have happened if she didn’t tweet about it, but doing it necessarily throws oil into the fire. Her social media aren’t meant to support her boyfriend, who she knows is controversial inside her fandom. Again, she has nothing to gain by doing it and everything to lose.
So it seems logic to me that she has something else to gain by doing it.
