I’m not Gorgan, Gillovny, Gillorgan or whatever. I’m just a fan of Gillian Anderson and I’m on the brink of disconnecting from her career. It didn’t take much mental acuity to see that she was much more invested in the promotion of The Crown than The Fall and I didn’t get it. I’m interested in neither The Crown nor any other monarchy. Lately, most of her public appearances are related to this show when she doesn’t take part in it. So where is the main focus of her career? Where is she going to?

I honestly don’t know where she’s going to. It’ll be interesting to see what happens after X-files in her career. I’m still quite sure she’ll sign for a season 12, because it’s pretty much the only thing that pays her good money and so allows her to do more little projects that she may find more interesting like Streetcar for example.
Maybe she has an important project that she’ll be working on. She used to talk about the adaption of her books on screen so maybe she’ll make that happening. There could also be a season 4 of The Fall, who knows. Or something totally different. But for now, it looks like she still picks small and weird movies like the spy one and Andorra which hasn’t started filming yet and already got cancelled once.

It’s a bit worrisome. If she was taking that lightly like David who seems to just not care if his career as an actor would stop right away and who just go with the flow and write, sing, or direct or do whatever he feels like, I wouldn’t worry for her, but I’m pretty sure she takes her career more seriously than he does and fame and recognition matter more to her.
I hope she finds that one big leading role she deserves and probably wants at this time of her career. And I hope it’s not in one of her alleged boyfriend’s project. It would be kind of sad.
