Who’s johnny?

It’s a bit hard to explain, but he’s, was, a singer. He’s the most famous artist in France, he’s been around for the last 50 years. Here, everyone knows a lot of his songs by heart, it feels like everyone, young and old, men and women, have at least one of his album at home. He’s a monument here, either you like his music or not, you like Johnny. His life was extraordinary, and I’m genuinely sad that he died last night.
