Does anyone have a guide to the best/most important xfiles episodes for a new fan? I have a friend that wants to watch the show before the new season starts but doesn’t have enough time to watch all 200+ before that.

That’s a tough one! There’s many lists of “the most important” episodes of the X-Files, but it’s hard to find the right one. It depends if she wants to focus on the mythology, or on Mulder and Scully’s relationship, but you have to include to comical ones because they’re really good even though they don’t have mythology in it. There are also very good stand alones with no mythology and no important msr scenes…
