Did you read the panel recap posted by X-Files News? It was actually an interesting panel and there didn’t seem to be any (real) tension between anybody. G & D said some sweet stuff. I honestly felt better after reading everything.

I just finished to read it, feelings are always hard to transcribe while written but it does sound like their usually deadpan banter. Was it funny deadpan or passive aggressive deadpan, it’s impossible to say right now.
At least we’ve learnt that David isn’t really up to do more without Gillian and that Gillian didn’t mean this season was platonic but the previous ones. That’s something!
