No, I really don’t think this is what’s gonna happen. Chris said he wanted to end on a cliffhanger, and how Scully dying would be cliffhanger? Then he said he that basically, as long as Gillian and David would be up to, he would still have stories to tell in the x-files. So i think he wants to leave the door open in case Gillian changes her mind. And finally, Scully doesn’t die.
