With all due respect, traits related to a mental illness are not adorable and have never been. I’m sure you didn’t mean to come across as demeaning to people with mental health problems when you said that these traits make Gillian “adorable,” but I can very well see it coming across as such. As someone with a long history of mental illness, I just thought I should let you know. Mental illness is very very serious and should never be taken lightly. I mean this in the most respectful way I can.

First of all, this is quite old and I’m sorry I didn’t answer before. I’m kind of cleaning my inbox now and I stumbled across your message.
I’m really sorry if I offended you with my post, and you’re right, that’s really not what I meant. I said there was something wrong with her and it used to be adorable. What I meant is that she used to be silly, goofy and her eccentricity used to be cute and yes adorable because it was fun to watch. And I think somehow it shifted to something more serious and depressing.
Again, sorry if I offended you 🙂
