Soo.. David and Gillian have been in some sort of relationship for the past number of years and they’ve been super anal about keeping it secret. David in particular wanting to perhaps protect their images, their families and their privacy respectively. Yet with this MP chick, he’s hiding nothing. Almost like the need for her privacy and protection is lessened. To me it says a lot. He doesn’t want forever with her. She (and any other woman who isn’t G at this point) is wasting her time.
