If David is a bad judge of characters (regardind Brad and Monique) then what about his family, what about Tea? He has people that are close to him and he listens to them, why nobody consult him? Tea is obviously very close to him and he respects her opinion and they have two kids and it’s in her best interest David to not trust Brad. Or they think it’s just a phase and they let it pass?

I’m sure Tea is just out there minding her own business and supporting David whenever their kids are somewhat involved but that’s it. She’s not with him anymore, it’s not her role to advise him or tell him that he fucked up. I think that West never being around Monique says a lot too. Either David doesn’t want to mix his children and with his sex life or West doesn’t approve so she wants to stay out of it. Either way we don’t know what’s going on in David’s family but it really doesn’t look like all of them and Monique are getting along.
