Well, I’m 31 and so would I!
I talked about that with a friend who is big fan of David and Gillian too. We happened to start talking about Monique and about I told her exactly what you said, that I don’t understand how West, even after getting shit all the time in IG because of that, could still support her dad and how Tea, or his sister it his mum even could still be supportive and just go with him being in a relationship with *this* girl.
When I said that to my friend, she laughed and said “do you know how easy it is to lie to your family?” And I thought she made a valid point.
David literally just has to say “she works for me, those crazy fans and tabloids are making this up. Are you going to believe them or me?” And it’s done.
That would explain why Monique feels free to introduce herself as David’s girlfriend to his fans. Why every time West, Miller or even Tea are around David, Monique is sent away. Why they have no interaction whatsoever and why his family still supports his actions.
Again, this is just a theory and it’s not even mine, but I think it could be a good explanation.
