I guess I choose not to believe the hype because it’s infinity harder to accept that I’ve been played by two people, who until recently I thought were pretty damn special both as actors and as humans.

Let me have this little bit of denial. I’ve put in the time, 25 years of loyalty has earned me that much, I hope.

I can so relate to this. I am not certain the D and G relationship circa 2012-2016 was a power play by them. Too many moments seem sincere. That said, both things can be true. They may have been together, but have reconciled with the fact that it wasn’t working and have put that side to their “whatever” to bed, so to speak. They have moved on in some respects, but can never really rid themselves of their connection.

I’m convinced that it happened so I don’t believe they played us but I know the feeling very well, I’ve been there too at some point. We’re all in different places with what we believe to be true but I guess we can all agree that all we have to do now is waiting and hoping for better days. There’s always been ups and downs with these too, there will be ups again.
