You got that wrong. I was talking about the entry fee. Of course she makes the price for her autographs and Photo ops but these haven’t been announced yet. The entry fee is indeed expensive but it would be the same price either Gillian attended or not.
Hmmmm… interesting! Thank you for that, anon. Argentina seems pretty random. I assumed there was another reason why she’d go there, but I was thinking vacation. But maybe it’s something else after all…
Yeah, it’s very expensive, but it’s pretty much always the case with comic cons, and unlike David and his tour, Gillian doesn’t make the price. You pay that price either you’re gonna go see Gillian or not.
As someone from Eastern Europe I felt the urge to share some details about this upcoming European Tour and Brad…
The venue in Budapest, according to David’s official page, is Congress Center. Right, so I search the Kongresszusi Központ and find out that nope, it’s not the place. Fine, so I open up one the tens of links my friends sent me and I find the following information: “…alterrockzenekar énekeseként érkezik 2019. február 11-én a budapesti MoM Sportba. “ Which means that the name of the venue in David’s page is not right. Excellent. But hey, I am sure it is just an honest mistake. These foreign languages are so confusing. So let’s move on… Capacity of the MoM: 2000 people. Hmmm…interesting. Hungary’s population: 10 millionish people, 1.5 in Budapest. So this made me wonder how big the London venue is; Shepherd’s Bush capacity: 2000. London population: 9 millionish. Okay, Budapest venue is super cheap, I’m sure, so why not, rent the same size as in London. Makes total sense.😳😡 My experience with the venue: non-existing😲😲 So I google what type of concert place I don’t know in my own city…well…the thing is…Do you see the yellow circle? That’s the city center. And then the blue one is the concert venue. That is the sport center of the mall, in that residential area.
So it’s not a concert venue but a Sport Center with a Function Hall where we can find classical music performances and an enthusiastic mineral fair among this year’s events. Also, venue closes at 10 o’clock!! See, the thing about Eastern Europeans, is, that we love a good night out, we enjoy drinking and most of the places are open till the morning. But hey, let’s move on, just like the audience will after the concert. Price: Only the UK tickets are available. 153 pounds. Wooow. If they keep this, they’ll make sure that only rich fans can go and meet David. But I’ll leave this to you @skullsmuldon I’ve said enough 😂❤️️😂❤️️
PS: Brad, if you need some suggestions on which charity to support from the ticket and merch proceeds in Hungary, hit me up! But first could you please show me a receipt for #HurricaneHarvey? Just to know what to except. Cheers!
So before everyone goes it’s not true everyone can attend- here comes a little reality check about hungary/budapest and romania/bucharest. Sure one might be able to pay for the 40 Pound for a normal ticket. But when it comes to having the opportunity to meet David that is not true.
What you see in the red square is the average salary in those countries. So saying it’s possible for everyone in those countries to meet DD is utter BS. 153 pounds = 171Euros = ca. 30% of your monthly income. Just to point out what that would mean for someone from e.g Germany where the average income is 2.270Eur. 30% of that income would mean you had to pay 681Eur for a Meet and Greet. They point of that is that if you really want to make it an experience for the people of those countries who never might have a chance to go to a con or any other concert in another country you should definitely overthink those prices and adapt them at least a little to country. .
Not sure what you’re talking about or who exactly but hey, I can’t afford these clothes and probably can’t fit in it but I truly don’t care! If you can afford them and if you look good in them, go for it! Good for you! If you can’t, it’s okay too. Who cares?
I don’t know who’s more to blame here, if it’s Gillian herself or her social medial handler who didn’t do her job correctly this time. I’m assuming with the launch of her clothes collection, the 25th anniversary wasn’t on her mind and she probably forgot the date but someone should have told her.
