David is just a very moody guy in general. That’s his cons attitude. He does them but hate it and it shows. It’s always like that, either Gillian is there or not, but usually, people he meets one to one during photo op have a great time. I feel like he just really doesn’t enjoy the panels because he’s too scared of the questions he might get and gets very defensive when he feels like someone is, legit or not, trying to trap him/them.
– Gillian was a boss. She, as always, had no filter, and it’s refreshing. I liked a lot of season 11, but the ending was BS. She honored us and Scully by admitting we and the character deserved better. Scully would not have suddenly not cared about William. Scully is more than making babies.
– I find it was interesting that DD would not answer a question about their relationship. Saying something is too personal means there is something to refer to.
– While David did seem to shut down to the audience after awhile, he did not shut down to Gillian. He can’t. When they look at each other (especially when you are there in person) you feel the electricity. When she focuses her smile and gaze on him, it’s everything. It’s what I was there for.
– David seemed a little annoyed by the fans, which rubbed me the wrong way. Gillian on the other hand was thoughtful, playful and really there for the fans. She was funny “Top that muthafucka,” leaning in to David across the couch to whisper “Suck my dick,” and actually engaged in the “who was the top” question (saying she’s answer for them, meaning she is.“ Granted, I met her and not him one on one, so maybe it was just some of the questions that caused his attitude. I like the theory he knows he’s coming home to a pissed MP. That question may have been a bit much, but she knew fans loved ATTHS and went along. Hearing her describe sex as flipping around was hilarious. At least we have confirmation our girl likes to mix it up in bed.
– Gillian calling David “weird” was great. Honestly, was he high? He was very slow on the uptake there.
Conclusion: Gillian is our queen, breathtakingly beautiful in person, and we don’t deserve her. Even grumpy, David loves her. For a famous person (whose life is really out there for the world) you want to keep what’s most important just for you. For him, that’s their relationship. Gillovny is real.
