I read a couple of people yesterday saying that Gillian and David will be back to their old selves when they spend some time together. I miss their old Twitter fuckery so much. Do you think we’ll get that back? Do you think that maybe David will charm her back and then Gillian will be playful on social media again? Maybe if they get back together she’ll want to be happy again? :((

I miss that too a lot, but yes I think Gillian’s Twitter feed will change a bit when she starts filming. If you compare it now and back to 2015, the difference is insane. Hopefully, being with David and in The X-Files atmosphere, she’ll be more keen to let her fun side out 🤞

I agree. It was 2003, things were a lot different and we came from that to “we have an enjoyable friendship”, and “adult friendship”, a “friendship based on logistics”, and “we have chemistry even when there’s just the two of us with nobody else watching”. These two have definitely come a long way!

I’m so interested to know your opinion. Do you think David showed up at the Webbies and asked right before it started if he could take over the presenting from whoever was supposed to do it? (Remember we saw him rushing in through the rain.) Or do you think he called the Webbies organizers and asked around a week or so before since he knew Gillian would be there (from her tweet)? What’s your opinion? I know we’ll never know the real way it went down but it’s fun to think about! Thanks JHH.

Hi anon! I’m having a hard time believing this was totally spontaneous. Even if it seems like it was a last minute thing, this show has to be prepared and organized before hand, so I don’t think he just decided to show up just before the ceremony. I think it was scheduled a minimum. I don’t know if it was his idea or The Webbies’ idea, though.
I’m guessing their team organized the whole thing knowing they’d both be in NY at the same time. I believe they did that behind Gillian’s back, though and she didn’t know. She looked genuinely surprised when he was presenting so it seems to me like she wasn’t prepared to receive her award from him, which makes the whole thing even sweeter!

The truth is…dammit,line? A little help here?

As the shooting of Season 11 is getting closer and closer, I’m getting more and more hyped, excited, happy… about the new season of The X-files, and I find it a bit too quiet here so I thought we could play a game before the shooting starts…😆

I meant she unfollows people on instagram!! I don’t think she follows anyone on tumblr or everyone would know it because the people she followed would brag about it. When her handler set up the account she forgot to remove the anon setting so she must have received so many crazy anons.

Then I don’t know who she unfollowed on Instagram. I have a different opinion on Gillian’s following on here, though. I do believe she follows some people and there’s some kind of tacit agreement between everyone who is followed to never say it. With the Tumblr police being everywhere, you can be sure that those blogs would be judged all the time with what they post. They’d be accused of being too Gillovny, or not feminist enough, or seeking attention, or whatever. Better not say anything…

The song freebird that David and his son were playing, is also what you here someone at the cutting room concert shouting out as a request. Then david said « we’ll let Gillian do it ». It’s a classic American southern rock song. Then she requested helpless which was planned of course.

Oh! I completely forgot about that. Thanks for the remind, anon, so I don’t need to rewatch Cutting Room with the sound on 😀

So I’m watching Aquarius (after having just finished Californication because I’m obsessed with DD, especially after I met him at his Boston show in February). How is it, that after all the years and the 200+ episodes he and GA did together, there isn’t even a fake sex scene between their characters and in every other damn show their in, they’re boning multiple supporting characters?! Please have your people tell CC that we need some results in S11. Or I might die

It’s because this guy is a robot who doesn’t know what sex is. I’m not even sure he has reproductive organs.
