Hi, I want to know your opinion about Gillian. these last months She has changed her public image. to be honest I don’t like her attitude, She is condescending. sorry for my english and thank you.

I’m sorry you feel that way, anon. I agree there’s a shift in her public image, but I don’t find her condescending though. Since the end of the summer, she has been promoting very serious and important projects. She was first fully focused on child trafficking and promoting Sold, which didn’t allow her to crack a joke or tweet about plastic doll or David’s dick. Then, she’s been promoting both We and Viceroy’s house, which are heavy subjects that matter a lot to her. Her interviews lately are about politic and feminism, she wants to deliver an important message to all of us, it’s important for her, and again, there’s no room for funny jokes here. I think she’s more serious and focus on her work than condescending. 

There’s also the fact that she’s been doing a lot of things in the UK and I feel like her image can be slightly different in Europe than in the US. Just wait for the American Gods promotion to start. The Gillian we all miss will be back for sure. 

Do you know that on March 17th there will be The BPG Awards in London and the crown and PM are nominated? If GA goes I will lose everything, really, enough is enough!!!!

Aaaaaaand…. Here we go again! We’d better get ready, then. She hasn’t anything scheduled in NY after March 15th, so I can see the drama coming full speed one more time. I’m confident nothing else will happen that we’ve already seen, though. So buckle up, bite the bullet, and it’ll be fine.

What if all this shit with PM has something to do with GA’s earthend saga adaptation for TV ? What if she needs help from PM and Netflix to direct or product it by herself ? Would it make sense ? I love your blog by the way ! Have fun in London !

Thanks anon! I thought about it too, but the fact that he stated he hates sci-fi, can’t read it, can’t watch it, can’t write it make me thinks it’s not that. We’ll see…

What do you think about this rumour that Gillian does not want to do more XF unless they pay her more than David? And that their relationship went sour because of that?? I just heard of it. I cannot believe they would break up because of money. Although I could see her wanting to be paid more than him, as a statement of sorts. I don’t know what to believe anymore!

First of all, I don’t think they’ve broken up. Then, I haven’t heard this rumor, but even if she asked for more money, I don’t think it could be a deal breaker for them. She said many times money wasn’t the reason why they didn’t get along in the 90′s so a salary gap isn’t going to settle between them now. Actually, I don’t even think David would mind at this point. And finally, I don’t think it’s true. Gillian said that when it comes to The X-Files, she lets David’s team negotiate first and then she asks for the same.

I love the idea of her claiming her money back from all those years she was paid half his salary, but I honestly don’t believe the money is the issue in the negotiations now. It’s more likely the number of episodes, in my opinion.
