Hi I’ve been a fan of Gillian and David for a long time and I respect their private lives so it was your blog that I get some information anything about them and even to take a look at some pictures…and I must say that I like how you show respect in the way you handle things…and so I went to those blogs that ship Morgan and Gillian but goodness! Are we sure these people are fans of Gillian?!! I mean why crop pictures of Gillian and place them on a fucking leotard wearing shit or even in a fucking position I mean come on have you got no respect for her body?!!! The audacity of these so called fans!!!
I hope I never see those kind of things in your blog.

I have nothing to add to this, anon. Thank you for your submission, and don’t worry, there’s zero chance you see those craps on my blog. I have too much respect for Gillian and David.

To get off the heavy topics from last few days, let’s go back to the Cutting Room. D&G’s kiss was all the talk but did David kiss any of his other guests? (1 of 2)

Oh no, Madeleine is/was still a teenager and he didn’t kiss her that way at all. I think they hugged, that’s all. Pamela Adlon kissed him on the lips when he got his star on Hollywood Boulevard but it was very chaste, though.

so, after what was said today, person, who was called out, though not for lying which is pity, lied. Someone who wasn’t in fandom lately asked her about things and she said « their flying from the U.K. to attend to the Golden Globes together last month. Lots of pics of them together before, during and after the event. »

I went to check the full post and I can’t even voice how many things in it are incorrect.  I don’t even know where to start with addressing it except to say that this wasn’t some one-off where Gillian suddenly appeared on the arm of a man. She arrived alone and walked the red carpet alone.  In Hollywood, regardless of your personal opinion, that says something.  It says, the person came alone. But just as importantly, Gillian attends Golden Globes after-parties regularly.  The last few years have shown us that.  She’s attended the GGs before, as well.  So for someone to say they flew from the UK together (which is a ridiculous conclusion to come and not factual) to attend the GGs is ridiculous.  It can almost be guaranteed that Gillian was going to be there anyway, based on the last few years.  

“Lots of pics” is such an exaggeration that I can’t even put into words how what I think about that.  There was a very brief video of them separately on the red carpet, then PM falling into line beside her.  There was video of The Crown table when they won their award.  There was video of Gillian leaving with PM to attend the after-party.  As for pictures, there were many of Gillian solo, and a few (I think there were four, to be specific) of them at the after-party.  Pictures which showed nothing even remotely romantic, no heart eyes, and nothing but a combination of detached coldness and professional interaction.  PM gave his phone and his award more attention than the woman who was supposedly his date (and, according to plenty of people, the future stepmother of his children and future wife).  

Also, for a group of bloggers who repeatedly talk about how everyone should be careful with their words, I found the wording the OP used in that anon answer to be intentionally misleading.  That’s only my perception, but to me it read that there were a bunch of photos of Gillian and PM taken upon arriving, during and after the GGs and that they were all of them together.  For people who aren’t inclined to do their own research, that would send the wrong message and intentionally colours the narrative in their favour.  Sure, it’s their blog and they’re entitled to say what they want.  But since they complain about every narrative from the Gillovny side that you can imagine, I don’t think it’s too much to expect that a simple sentence that should be accurate and descriptive be presented as such. 

What the OP said was intentionally misleading – and yes, in other words, a lie. There’s a way to communicate information without insidiously directing readers to agree with you in an attempt to shore up more support.  But the times that I’ve made the mistake of looking at their posts, I realize that expecting that is expecting far too much.

Keep to your standards, because judging from your ask, they’re obviously in the right place.

I should call out this person for lying too. She likes saying that Gillian and PM were together at several events… 🙄🤔

Gillian said in May 2016 that someone had bought the rights to make her books into a tv. Series. Any idea how we figure out who that was and if that can be the Netflix link or production co link to PM?

We can’t find out until it’s officially announced, but the original plan of those books always was to be adapted on screen, and that Gillian could be directing, probably producing too. I think she wanted them to be a movie franchise, or just one movie, but apparently it’s going to be a tv series. I guess Netflix could absolutely be on board, and actually, I bet they will. But I don’t think PM will. First, I truly believe their relationship stops at The Crown right now, and he has stated that he hates sci-fi.
Maybe Gillian will adapt the books to a screenplay herself.

I’d totally get it if people were just not feeling Gillovny anymore. That’s fine, you do you. But what’s with this retroactive Gillovny-shaming? They say there’s more evidence for G dating PM than it ever was for Gillovny: where is it, I’d like to know? They swoon over ‘heart eyes’ in that GG picture – huh? I wish I could link pics, just for reference – remember that one in the tent with DD and Kumail? That was heart eyes, complete with drooling and almost falling of her chair. This is nothing.

There is no more evidence for Gillian dating PM, but most of all, there is nothing encouraging such a ship from Gillian or PM.

At least, with Gillovny, we can all agree that Gillian has publicly expressed she is okay with the idea, either you believe it’s a game or not, she does have fun with it, tease the fandom with Gillovny and somehow, encourage the ship. That’s why we all feel comfortable believing what we do, and shipping them with no shame. But Gillian never said anything about Peter Morgan at all, personally wise or professionally wise. So I find it extremely borderline to say she is in love when she might not be, that she has heart eyes when she clearly does not, that he’s the One and she’s going to raise his kids, when she actually could as well be in a relationship with someone else, or be single if that’s what you believe, or whatever. All this ship is quite disturbing and slightly disrespectful considering the absence of communication from Gillian. 

I wish I had the strengths of your beliefs 😥. Did something occur that made your GQ (gillovny quotient) rise? And what makes you confident he won’t be at this premiere? Are you more confident that you were before the GG?

Nothing in particular made my GQ rise, but I just feel like it’s time to move on and realize all this was just a crazy rumor, it was born here and it’ll die here sooner or later.
I think she’s entitled to attend The Crown events but he has no reason to attend her events. I don’t think we will ever see him at one of them, although, she might attend a few more events and awards ceremonies with him for The Crown. But you’ll see, we will never see them interact like a couple because they’re not one. It’ll never go above what we’ve seen at the Globes, and I’m sure Gillian (or PM!) will find a way to shut down the rumor. A simple interview should do the trick, and she’ll do a lot really soon.

Something changed in the way you’re posting. You seem more self assured and more confident in your theory. Do you know something that we don’t?do you still believe it’s all crosspromo?

Something changed? I don’t know… like I said, I’m back to fully believing in Gillovny and most of all, I’m fully convinced she’s not dating anyone else. But it’s just my take, and time will tell.
More than crosspromotion, I believe she will be playing a part in the crown, as an actress, a producer, editor, writer, costume designer what do I know? I just feel like she’s going to be involved in it and that’s all this mess is about. Nothing else.

events like the viceroy’s house premiere are planned months in advance. the bfi dinner has only just been announced and was probably only confirmed recently. it’ll be interesting to see if gillian skips the screening of viceroy’s house and just does the red carpet. claridges is literally around the corner from the curzon.

Well, seems like it’s the common thought and I’m actually glad people really think she will attend his event.
I wish we could bet money here, because I’m sure she won’t do that, and I want to be rich! 😀
