i’ve asked GAWS if gillian will be attending the bfi dinner. technically she could do the premiere red carpet and then leave. i don’t think she tends to stick around for the screenings anyway, and if her partner is being honored that night, i’m sure gurinder etc would understand.

Did you do that for real? Jeez, this rumor really needs to be shut down. It’s not really an event for The Crown so she won’t go. But I guess we’ll all find out soon.

What will you think if G and PM show up for SAG and BAFTA like they did for GG? Don’t you think 4 events will be too much to be explained as network socializing? And I’m not saying your theory is wrong, I’m just wondering. What we really need is something official from her, like when she and Mark were done (btw, was that really announced on D’ b-day) and untill I don’t get that, Gillovny lives! And also, do you have a law school degree? Your arguments would win a trial. ❤

So they didn’t go to the SAG, BAFTA television are in May, so yes, there’s still a chance they show up at this one. But by that time, Gillian will have done a lot of events for her book and Viceroy’s House, and if she does all of them on her own, if he never shows up and they magically reappear together at the BAFTA because The Crown is nominated, I think we can all agree that either it’s a one-way relationship which Gillian would never agree to be in, or it’s a professional relationship centered on The Crown because somehow she’ll be involved in it.

Hi ! A few nights ago I had a dream that still haunts me : GA was at my appartment and we worked together on a project. We didn’t seem to know each other very well but we were very at ease : shoulders bumping, hand on the knee or the thigh, smiles, gazings … I can still remember her scent and her perfume ! And all of a sudden I was catching her lips with mine! It was so intoxicating ! But my alarm woke me up at that time! Quite disturbing for a 37 straight married woman and mother of 3 no ?

I love your rational answers and your way of explaining things. There’s just one thing that’s been bothering me. I’m sorry if you have answered it already. Gillian was seen next to PM at the table, then they were leaving together. Then again at the after party they were walking/posing together and seen only with each other. But worst of all: they were sitting close together *in the middle* of a couch. Wasn’t there anyone else she could hang out with that night? And why all this proximity?

She was his date, that night. But being his date doesn’t mean they’re dating for real. She used to go to ceremonies with other male friends, platonic male friends, with her daughter too. They stayed together because she accompanied him, but I think it was only professional. I’m not even sure they’re friends. I mean, we know how she interacts with her friends and it was nothing like that.

Marketing and promotion can totally force you to date if you agree, it’s called a showmance and celeb do that everyday with fake paparazzi pictures, fake kisses and all.
But in this case, it’s everything but that. I see the “show” part but not the “mance”. There’s actually nothing to indicate they’re dating. Nothing happened outside of the professional circle, they’ve just attended ceremonies and premieres for The Crown and I don’t see that changing.
We can say they’re dating when we see them in a personal context at least once, or interacting as a couple. It hasn’t happened yet, and it won’t.

Sorry I was confusing with my ask. What I’m saying is, what if in THEIR minds they think him going to the premiere with her this weekend would « out » them unquestionably whereas what happened with her attending the other events with him was more « safe »? Just because he doesnt go with her this weekend won’t mean they aren’t together. I am heartbroken about Gillovny and I’m finding it hard to believe PM is nothing to her. I hope so though. It’s just that all the evidence is there. :(

Where are the evidences, exactly? Did I miss something? He’s not going to her premiere, he’s not going to show up at any of her event, maybe she will keep showing up at The Crown events when he’s there but that’s all. They have a professional relationship but as he’s not involved in her projects, he will never show up with her. That’s what I think. Wanna bet?

you’re saying that if pm doesn’t go with ga to her premiere it means they aren’t a couple right? because mark always went with her? but what if her and pm aren’t « out » and they know that him going with her would solidify their relationship in the public eye? i really want to believe in gillovny, but after the gg i’m having a hard time. that and the fact she doesn’t troll david whatsoever on twitter anymore. it went from 100 to nothing. seems super strange to me, no?

There’s something I don’t understand because after the Globes, if you believe they’re together, you might as well believe they’re out. If not, I’m lost. 

Part 1. I am Gillovny and find it very hard to believe all this stuff about PM and GA. But there is one thing that I really think is strange and makes me sad … When it all started, there was an article about GA dating PM secret. I did not believe the article and found it is very unlikely she would tell a friend and the friend having to reveal it to a tabloid. But as time passed and she was sitting next to him, came to the premiere in London and later to the Golden Globes with him ..

I can find reasons for everything else but not the gossip story is it a coincidence? But then again quite the coincidence .. I find it hard to imagine her with PM but this just confuse me. You are really good at analyzing things, you remain calm and has previously reassured me so I thought I’d ask.

This article appeared right after the WSJ one which said Gillian was there with Peter Morgan, at The Crown Premiere. Of course they didn’t mean “with” as “together”. WSJ is a serious paper, with real journalists, and they’re not going to out Gillian with whomever without her knowledge the authorization of her publicist. It was a way for them to mention The Fall arriving on Netflix US at the same time (because if not, what’s the point of talking about it in an article exclusively about The Crown Premiere?)

After this article, the fandom started to freak out, interpreting it in a wrong way and of course, the day after, one gossipy website had to pick up the story. If you look at the “journalist” page on Page Six, you will notice that he also wrote an “article” about the Women Filmakers’ luncheon Gillian attended. He wrote it as he was there, which, of course, isn’t true, and that’s probably were he supposedly heard Gillian telling her friends about dating PM. None of this happened for real. This journalist wasn’t there and can you imagine Gillian Anderson being at such an important networking event, giggling like a teenager about her new boyfriend? That didn’t happen.

And by the way, the same day, Gillian had an event for her book with a lot of writers and celebs. But where was this new boyfriend?
