Marketing and promotion can totally force you to date if you agree, it’s called a showmance and celeb do that everyday with fake paparazzi pictures, fake kisses and all.
But in this case, it’s everything but that. I see the “show” part but not the “mance”. There’s actually nothing to indicate they’re dating. Nothing happened outside of the professional circle, they’ve just attended ceremonies and premieres for The Crown and I don’t see that changing.
We can say they’re dating when we see them in a personal context at least once, or interacting as a couple. It hasn’t happened yet, and it won’t.
