I really want to enjoy The Xfiles, I’m a super fan!! It’s been my life since 93. But it’s really hard to do when Gillian is slipping it in where ever possible that she doesn’t want to do the show, and that she was basically forced into doing more. This really upsets me. I remember listening to the podcast when she was getting everybody to tweet Fox to bring the show back. (I can’t remember the hashtag she decided on) but she seemed so into it and excited. Now we hear her saying she was forced!!

I think you should forget about what she says and watch her behave. Sometimes, actions speak louder than words. She might give you the impression she was forced to do those episodes in her interviews, but don’t forget that she does what the fuck she wants. Nobody forced her to do anything. You shouldn’t listen to those XF / David haters who will interpret her words to fit their weird agenda. Seeing how she seems to enjoy herself, I think she is excited and happy to do those episodes.
Sit back and enjoy, anon! There’s nothing you should worry about here.

This might have been the best week we had since filming started! We got a NEW PROMO WHERE DAVID AND GILLIAN ARE DISCUSSING SCULLY & MULDER’S RELATIONSHIP.

But let’s start at the beginning. 

Gillian Anderson is nominated for Critic’s Choice Award for her role as Media, in American Gods.(X)  No one was more excited about this than forever fangirl, Bryan Fuller!

David tweeted from the set. It’s a really cool, X-files aesthetics picture and it’s sooo David’s style 😂😂 The tweet said: “Hmmm, looks like X-files to me.“ (X) Brick answered: This is how I like my X-files and let’s just be honest…that is totally a Gillian response, right @alienbaby-babymama ? That is all, now we can get back to one of the best things that’s ever happened to this fandom, the MSR Promo!! 

Okay, so on Thursday evening we’ve been surprised with some new footage from Season 11, concentrating on the Mulder and Scully dynamic. Are they only friendly co-workers? Are they only partners? Are they married? We don’t know, but we do know that they are certainly not estranged! That is if believe David and Gillian. And why wouldn’t we?! 😍😍 So, yes. Here we are, looking at a new season of our favourite show, expecting some proper MSR scenes. 

Like, do you remember how many kisses we got in 25 years? I mean, some are too dark to even see anything, or it happened back in the past, or it was just a nearly kiss…#damnthatbee Do you also remember all the happy/domestic scenes that we’ve ever got to see? Yeah, I’m sure we all do, cause it’s not that much to remember, right? But now! NOW we got a whole 1:30 minutes trailer full of MSR innuendos!!!! So, yeah, Tumblr exploded, the gifs, the screaming, the fanfics, the analysis, the joy that followed this trailer was one really good ride! And, honestly, we needed it, we deserved it and we couldn’t have been any happier when we got it. And we even worried a bit about Chris Carter’s well-being…is Chris Carter ok? did someone do something to Chris Carter? @wtfmulder

And like this has not yet been enough, we also got a 3 minutes video with Gillian & David discussing their famous chemistry! There is footage from Season 1 – Season 11 with many BTS parts we’ve never got to see! These videos are a blessing, just like Mulder&Scully/Gillian&David. So thank you very much to anyone who has been a part of these awesome promo ideas and preparation!❤️️

The new one is a cute, picture of Dana Scully, wearing a Santa hat;“Naughty or nice?” 

Zelda William shared a very sweet and heartwarming story about the beginning of her career and David Duchovny. David replied. (X)
