Just wracking my brains, is there ever a time where G refers to D as Dave?! Can’t remember if I’ve heard her call him that or it’s always David. My husband is David and always full-name him too so was curious 🤔

It’s still to be discussed wether she called him Dave or not, but last year, she did a panel and at some point, she told the now famous “Neck brace prank story” and she may have referred to him as “Dave”. I’ll let you judge by yourself. Here’s the link, the story starts at 16:20. To me, she did say “Dave” 🙂

Well my problem remains… If they were not using the kiss scene in the movie why did they even care filming a second one? I always thought « when he grabs her ass and lifts her with his tongue in her mouth » was the first shot of two, correct?

There’s actually probably many of them. We only saw two of them really kissing. One is the deleted scene, the other one is in the bloopers, and god knows how many of them remain unreleased. We don’t know which one they filmed first, it’s probably none of them. No one knows what happened in their mind for those unscripted kisses except that they were “just goofing around.”

Hi Wax Chattels! So ‘Gillian’ is about Gillian Anderson… what’s your favourite Gillan memory or moment?

Peter: For me, it’s in The Fall. She’s sitting at a table in a restaurant and this guy comes up to her she has no interest in speaking to so just cuts him right down to size, keeping quiet and composed but reducing him to this puddle on the floor. It’s incredible.

Amanda: It is way too hard to pick just one moment… I’ll just add the fact that she is generally super badass. The lyrics reference her in X-Files, The Fall and Hannibal; there are many moments in each of those shows where she quietly devastates everyone else in the scene. Also, something else that stands out to me is Gillian off-screen. She’s been very vocal about the gender disparity in her industry and equality issues in general — things that are important to me. I think recently on Twitter she asked fans to donate time/money to charity for her birthday?
