It’s been two weeks since our favorite show is back!! Let’s see what happened in the second week. *First-week summary here*
We started the week with some absolutely perfect Fox Mulder pictures from the set. They were filming at UBC, at a 100+-year-old mansion called Cecil Green Park House. As we know from @one-in5billion “Last day shooting ep1 here, and it was just David and other agent-y type people. FYI, Mulder is driving a silver Mustang.” (X)
We learned that there is going to be an overnightfilming on the Viaduct, aka ‘We are bringing down Mulder from the bridge’ happiness. There was filming in Gastown, too.
We had a small meltdown when we heard that David arrived at the filming site, but later we learned that it was probably his stunt double.

We did get glimpses of a black SUV crashing another car and a video of the silver Mustang being chased after the bridge scene.
The first pictures of Dana Scully surfaced!!! The wig looks really good, but the same can’t be said about Scully. She’s been in a car crash, she is bruised and bleeding, and someone is helping her to get out of the car…
There was also a tweet that says both Gillian and David’s doubles were in a car.
Based on the pictures of Scully we could say goodbye to cross-gate and say hello to medical wristband gate.
More candid pictures from the filming gave us some pictures of Chris Carter talking to Gillian while waiting, in-between takes. This brought along yet again amazing meme creations, like this one.
The weekend gave us some behind the scenes in-door pictures! Based on those we can safely assume that they are filming ‘at the Unremarkable House’ but inside the studio.
Mitch Pileggi tweeted twice, both pictures are pretty cool and include the first pic of Mulder & Scully. Well, their feet 😆 And, of course, the star of season 11…Brick!

Monday, the day of the total eclipse did not disappoint! Gillian tweeted from the set and it was everything and more we’ve been waiting for; a selfie of Mulder & Scully!! While we were being busy having a nice breakdown, we did get this tweet from Dean Haglund…which put us in a pretty hopeful and happy stage, just so to prepare us, what came a couple of minutes later…

Lol! I think it’s just Gillian’s coat because she was cold. Her Scully outfit might be underneath the coat. I see the metallic thing you’re talking about but I think it’s a light reflection the coat 🤷🏽♀️
Thank you for sharing, anon. I think the reason why I said I don’t know if I like it or not, it’s actually because it feels realistic and goes beyond the usual clichés so it’s disturbing. But Gillian’s acting is really good and it’s probably one of her toughest and strongest role.
Yes, Straightheads is the US title and Closure the UK one (or vice versa I can’t remember) and I’ve seen it. Twice. She has a leading role, and you might wanna see it. Everyone has a different opinion on this movie. Let’s say it’s disturbing. I still haven’t figured out if I like it or not, but you surely won’t be bored watching in, Gillian is very good, her role is heavy and tough and she’s breathtaking in it. Come back and tell me what you thought about it when you’ve seen it, I’m always curious to know what people think about this movie.

Tell me everything you want about Gillovny. Tell me you think they’re just friends, just coworkers, tell me you think they never did it, tell me you think it’s only for the show, just don’t tell me they behave like siblings. They don’t.
No idea if it means something. I would definitely love them to tweet about it, Gillian to write a funky caption for example. There was a time she would have totally done that. Last year, we all thought it would have been odd if they acknowledge them considering the fact that all the pictures leaked, but he posted this one himself on Instagram and Twitter, so a little retweet/regram would be great!
You know what’s funny? I’ve never really bought this leak thing either, but I’ve been called names for saying that at the time by those who are today so offended by Mark Mann “using” Gillovny for his self-promotion. Last year he was the talented victim of a robbery who would never leak his own work, and today he’s an asshole who uses Gillian and David to make money on them. Double standard at its peak! So no, I don’t think the leak happened randomly, yes I think it served him well, yes he’s a god business man, but the real question is: why does it matter?
The pictures are incredibly beautiful, Gillian and David seem to genuinely like him and vice versa, he’s one of the few who got to photograph them both and what he created is unique and will remain in the X-Files and Gillovny history, and finally, he ships them. He really does. And not only to gain followers on Instagram, but because he met them and as everyone else who does, he was amazed by their chemistry. Shouldn’t we focus on that instead of blaming a professional photographer for promoting his own work?
