This is just the insecure part of me worrying, but I had this disturbing thought. When GA said ‘if she was single and childless’ what if she didn’t specify who she’s with because the press already thinks she’s with PM and she felt no need to restate something she thinks everyone assumes about her? Again, just my crazy thought but it’s eating at me. I still don’t know how you guys are connecting partner and ‘not single’ to DD. If you could tell me that, it’d help a lot.

First of all, she mentioned David as her partner in a radio interview a few days before this interview. Then, it was a written interview and if my memory serves me right, it was stated that her words have been rewritten to fit the interview. We have no way to know if she really said it, the way she said it, and what she exactly meant. Maybe she only mentioned the children and they added the “if I was single”, maybe she said it in a way like if I didn’t have children, maybe she indeed said it thinking about her partner, but at this point, it doesn’t have to mean that she’s with PM. 

It’s been two month without seeing them together. I know Gillian hasn’t done any public appearance since her promotional tour in NY, but shouldn’t two people in love living in the same city be spotted at least once together? There has been many sightings of Gillian in London in the last two months, none of them mentioned PM. 

It just seems less and less real to me 🙂

Basically my thoughts are that actors spend a ton of time sitting and talking between takes. Unless they hate each other of course. So if Orlando knows Gillian isn’t with PM (and I believe he knows) then he also knows that she’s with David. Now the question is:… Why is he trolling? He already has attention. Is he excited for knowing? Wanting to share with the fandom? Who knows. But I wonder more about WHY he’s trolling and the purpose. The rest just seems logical to me (o.k. to disagree).

I think it’s less complicated than that. I think he’s trolling to entertain himself. He doesn’t do that only in the Gillovny fandom but in many others. He could know about them, but to assume he’s been talking with Gillian in a private context, we will have to see if they have scenes together. Gillian seems to have a very limited part in American Gods, so they may have not been together on the set. I assume he knows David better than he knows Gillian.

I’m worried that OJ meant it and that gillovny isn’t real. Every time I think about it, I get disappointed because GA raised my hopes up so much. Her behavior pissees me off. And if she is PM, it’ll be even worse. However, there are so many things that point to gillovny being real. Their interactions, con interactions, hand-holding, kissing, Nancy’s ‘true love’ post, BFF, ‘my very own DD’, schmoopie, Joel McHale’s marriage comments, Mark Mann’s photoshoot description, DD’s soulmate comment.

If Orlando Jones make you feel that way, just ask yourself if what he said about Gillovny before made you believe in it more?
He really is just a troll, there’s no reason the take his words more seriously now than before, even less when he seems to dislike what was written or re-written in this article.

I was just going through some old interviews and I think there definitely was and is something going on between them. One was about the rolling Stone magazine and GA says having her breasts pressed against DD’s chest was fun. Andthat he has soft skin and is gentle. This was from Jan 1996. I think what they have is extremely complicated due to the kids and ex-partners and they try their best to keep it under wraps. I don’t think we’ll ever get an official confirmation about gillovny (1).

I think the only way we get official gilovny is if some paparazzi gets candid compromising pics of them. While that may be great for confirming it, I fear the excitement and pressure might cause them to go their separate ways. All I need is for the PM shit to go away. Hopefully PM reconciles with his wife. That would be great. What do you think? (2)

I agree there’s indeed something in their relationship that is way more intimate than a coworker relationship or a friendship. It was complicated since day one and the complications only increased until recently, when they seem to have found a balance. So if it works for them this way, I think they have nothing to win going public. I’d rather them being together in the dark than being separated in the light.
And PM’s shadow is fading already. We haven’t seen him around Gillian for two months now. It’s been a good two months and I hope it stays like this.

I do not understand the top tweet from Orlando. What is he saying? English is not my first language so maybe that is why. But I do not understand.

I took it as this magazine have no chill and they may have twisted his words, or write something he didn’t say, or something like that. It isn’t very clear, though, but he seems pissed.
I think his #trollando is here meaning he was trolling anyway, so as usual, we shouldn’t take what he says too seriously.

I think you’re reading the Orlando interview wrong. The way I read it, as a native English speaker, is that the fandom thinks the ship is sinking bc David and Gillian are not together for some reason. That’s why he said « so they think. » Like we are the ones that think that. I actually found the interview to be a slight confirmation. I guess I may be the only one.

I don’t think I read it wrong. “So they think” wasn’t for the fandom, but for David and Gillian who, according to him, think they’ll never be together. It doesn’t make much sense if he was talking about the fandom. 

But in both cases, it’s just massive trolling from our Captain!
