Can we delve into what we may think happened between our faves? I mean, I believe they have been in a romantic relationship from at least early 2015 until summer of 2016. So what do you think may have happened? Do u think Gillian maybe wanted something more committed and serious?? Sorry I’m just so confused. Looking for answers :-/

My personal headcanon is that it has started way before 2015. I’d say around 2011/2012. And the way I see it is pretty much the other way round. I truly believe if there’s one of them who don’t want to come out, it’s Gillian, not David. I think he doesn’t give two fucks, he’s ready if she’s ready, but I think she’s not. Despite all the teasing and flirting on Twitter, I think coming out for real scares her more than it scares him. His kids are old, he can handle the press better than she can, by actually ignoring them and I think he feels more confident and self-assured in his life and career at this point. He seems like he’s ready to just live his life without justifying his choices (if not, he would stop singing!). On the contrary, I think Gillian still feels like she still has everything to prove, which is not the case, but still. Coming out would of course have an impact on her career and her personal life which she’s way more protective of than David is. I could be wrong, but that’s the way I see it.

And I don’t think they’ve broken up 🙂

I’m pretty new to Gillovny history. There’s a pic of them from the 90s at the Golden Globes where they are sitting at a table and Gillian is giving David the cold shoulder. I know they weren’t getting along that year, but do you know the context behind why they looked so damn awkward at that particular moment in front of the cameras?

Basically… David got married and Gillian learnt it after he got married. It was also very complicated between them at this time, for the reasons we still ignore that has probably nothing to do with Gillian’s freezy hair. If you want to learn more about these times, I always recommend to read this post. It’s painful but necessary if to get to know Gillovny history 🙂

He sent her a beautiful photo, a selfie, of the two of them facing each other in bed. She remembers how they were trying not to laugh when he took that picture. A caption came with it: « We had fun that week. 😉 Love, D. » Oh my God, that’s right, it’s been a year since that intense week. Bless him for always reminding her of the great times they’ve had together.

She doesn’t want to always be the one complaining but she could use a cuddle right now. It’s true, it should have been him at the table with her at these awards. Just like those other important nights. This situation is starting to make her feel uncomfortable. Is being seen close with a man such a good idea?

(3/3) She dreads the moment the rumor mill starts to churn. It was so much easier last year doing press with David. She could be herself and didn’t particularly care about the people around her. In 2013, David was officially separated for 2 years, probably more. As far as we know, PM is separated for less than a year now.

But you’re right, it doesn’t really matter. The thing is you can’t compare these two men and their relationship with Gillian. There’s one guy she has a real and complicated history with, with whom something has probably already happened in the past, probably many times, romantically and sexually wise. She knows him by heart, she loves him, she works with him, she’s here when he needs her and vice versa, despite him being married or not, these two have had an on going relationship over the last two decades, either you think it’s been romantic or not. On the other hand you have this man she knows for a few months, she’d briefly worked with ten years ago and probably never heard of him in between. Really, these two don’t stance the comparison.

You will not have to apologize for anything, because we are all holding our hopes up for ourselves, and we are all in this together. Whatever happens, we’re all in this together.😉

It’s been a year now and I still think about the DOZEN of bed pictures that Gillian had of her and David in her phone!!! 😱 Not to mention ALL of them – not just 1 – were in her « favorites »! So sweet! 😍 How do you explain that?! And why was there a photo of a guy in his boxers, also in the same folder??!!

The guy in his boxers was a joke, but the dozen of pics of her and David probably weren’t meant to be showed on national television. What I love the most is that you can clearly see him being first on the other side and straddling her to go on the other side. Could he not just get off the bed and walk to the other side? 😀

I’m trying to get your stance on things because I’m a little confused by all your posts. So your belief is that David & Gillian are still together & Peter was a date kinda like O’Hagan is for Gillian and that they are just friends?? If that is correct, how do u think her bf David is with her being so cozy with PM at the GGs?

I still have mixed feelings about all this, but my Gillovny beliefs are pretty much back at the same stage they were before we even heard about Peter Morgan. Him being in the same hotel room can be rationally and logically explained. It was a suite were all the celebs got ready for the red carpet. The only thing I can’t explain is why all their joined appearances gravitate around The Crown and why is she promoting this show so much. I’m convinced we will find an explanation soon, and I don’t think it’ll involved any romantic relationship. That’s it.

I don’t think David is worried at all, I believe he trusts her, and she trusts him no matter what, I believe he knows what’s going on and they’ve discussed about it beforehand, like the two mature adultes they are, and she wasn’t all cozy at all with him anyway.

And if I’m wrong, it’ll be proven too, eventually.
