Definition of shipping – The act of one wanting/supporting two individuals involved in a romantic relationship. That still sums us up pretty well. I ship them until someone prises the Paley/Kimmel/Press tour/IWTB photos out of my cold dead fingers along with all the other thousands of moments through the years that have made my foolish british heart melt into a big pile of goo. Their relationship is fascinating and I can’t ever deny that.

Sorry to trouble you wth random questions but…what’s the consensus on Tentgate, if you recall? Was it decided that the tent was just for DD and GA on that last filming night? Were they the only ones coming and going, or did there appear to be other people inside it? Thank you :)

Hi! No worries. And no, it wasn’t specifically for David and Gillian. They set the same tent(s) up on every on location shoot throughout the whole summer. Usually there’s tea and cookies and chairs and a heater or whatever they may need in there. All of the actors shooting that day (lead and otherwise) would go sit down and relax between takes. But for that last night of shooting, Gillian would walk in, David would follow shortly after, and then nobody else would go in (other than when some kinds visiting the set were in there at the same time as D&G). Poor Robbie Amell just stood outside of the tent with other crew between his takes.

I’m curious to see where everybody stands… It is pretty obvious to me that D&G were together at some point and something happened. It also is pretty clear that PM is a rebound, and a bad one at that! What are the chances that D&G will be able to spend 5 plus months together and keep their hands to themselves. The one thing that can’t be denied is that they have insane chemistry. I give it a few weeks at best and they will be back to old habits

I swear to God Gillovny is probably comprised of two of the most stubborn people EVER. They are the epitome of ‘that couple that doesn’t even know they are a couple’. It’s like everything is good until everyone, including God himself says « hey y’all should get married » and then shit gets too real so they jump into the arms of basically anybody else as fast as they can to prove it wrong. Ugh I need to have drinks with Orlando so I can properly vent (he may have to break those legs after all) 😏

You could be right! I think they really tried, though, and will try again until it works!

I agree. It was 2003, things were a lot different and we came from that to “we have an enjoyable friendship”, and “adult friendship”, a “friendship based on logistics”, and “we have chemistry even when there’s just the two of us with nobody else watching”. These two have definitely come a long way!

I wish I could believe it was going to be a fun 5 months, but I don’t think we will see the old D&G that we are used to seeing. Especially if she is in a relationship with that man. Plus don’t you think she will be more guarded with all the negativity towards her lately? I hope I’m wrong, but I’m not feeling it this time around.

Again, I relate to The Webbies and I think everything will be fine. She does seem more guarded on social media and interviews, but I’m pretty sure none of them is able to behave when they’re together, or at least not for such a long time. It’s worth waiting and hoping 🙂

If you believe G&D were in a relationship and then broke up, how do you explain The Webby’s? Have you ever looked at an ex like that?

Yes, I have. But I’ve never looked at a coworker like that. Wait… I have, but it was because he was more than my coworker… 

I think none of us can relate to their relationship and compare with ours. There’s 25 years of complicated relationship in there. There’s a solid friendship that went and keep going against all odds. They’re soulmates, and it’s their words, not mine. So if they’ve broken up, and I believe something like that may have happened, maybe they thought it wasn’t working for some reasons, I think things are not as simple as we want them to be. Their life isn’t in black and white. There’s countless shades of grey in Gillovny.
