Basically my thoughts are that actors spend a ton of time sitting and talking between takes. Unless they hate each other of course. So if Orlando knows Gillian isn’t with PM (and I believe he knows) then he also knows that she’s with David. Now the question is:… Why is he trolling? He already has attention. Is he excited for knowing? Wanting to share with the fandom? Who knows. But I wonder more about WHY he’s trolling and the purpose. The rest just seems logical to me (o.k. to disagree).

I think it’s less complicated than that. I think he’s trolling to entertain himself. He doesn’t do that only in the Gillovny fandom but in many others. He could know about them, but to assume he’s been talking with Gillian in a private context, we will have to see if they have scenes together. Gillian seems to have a very limited part in American Gods, so they may have not been together on the set. I assume he knows David better than he knows Gillian.

I’m worried that OJ meant it and that gillovny isn’t real. Every time I think about it, I get disappointed because GA raised my hopes up so much. Her behavior pissees me off. And if she is PM, it’ll be even worse. However, there are so many things that point to gillovny being real. Their interactions, con interactions, hand-holding, kissing, Nancy’s ‘true love’ post, BFF, ‘my very own DD’, schmoopie, Joel McHale’s marriage comments, Mark Mann’s photoshoot description, DD’s soulmate comment.

If Orlando Jones make you feel that way, just ask yourself if what he said about Gillovny before made you believe in it more?
He really is just a troll, there’s no reason the take his words more seriously now than before, even less when he seems to dislike what was written or re-written in this article.

I do not understand the top tweet from Orlando. What is he saying? English is not my first language so maybe that is why. But I do not understand.

I took it as this magazine have no chill and they may have twisted his words, or write something he didn’t say, or something like that. It isn’t very clear, though, but he seems pissed.
I think his #trollando is here meaning he was trolling anyway, so as usual, we shouldn’t take what he says too seriously.

I think you’re reading the Orlando interview wrong. The way I read it, as a native English speaker, is that the fandom thinks the ship is sinking bc David and Gillian are not together for some reason. That’s why he said « so they think. » Like we are the ones that think that. I actually found the interview to be a slight confirmation. I guess I may be the only one.

I don’t think I read it wrong. “So they think” wasn’t for the fandom, but for David and Gillian who, according to him, think they’ll never be together. It doesn’t make much sense if he was talking about the fandom. 

But in both cases, it’s just massive trolling from our Captain!

It sounds like oj is backpedaling now. Maybe from some of the backlash. That he felt he needed to add that it’s not real was strange. We never thought he knew anything one way or another anyway.

If there was a consensus in this fandom, pro and non-Gillovny, it’s that Orlando Jones is professional troll. I find him funny, I know others find him disrespectful, but in the end, I think he’s just being silly and he says silly things in a way or another to see what kind of reactions he’ll get. And it works every time! I just think he’s been trolling one more time here, but he’s probably not Gillian or David‘s confidant anyway. 

But because he isn’t a random fan, because he’s part of this industry, because he has a louder voice and because he wouldn’t disrespect a well known screenwriter, I think he wouldn’t say such a thing knowing Gillian is with someone else. 

So it means 2 things : either he doesn’t know who she is with, and in this case he can’t know about Gillovny either, or he knows she’s not with PM.

But you always said OJ didn’t know what kind of relationship gillian and david have, so why does he say that now?

I always said Orlando Jones might know something or might think he knows something. He’s Gillovny as fuck, like the rest of us, but I never believed he would or could confirm or infirm Gillovny. It’s not his place anyway, I love his trolling on Twitter and Tumblr, but I don’t take his words too seriously, either they’re positive or negative on Gillovny. He’s just a trolling funny guy and he knows too well what kind of shit he’ll get on Twitter after saying what he said. I bet he loves it 😀
