(anon submission) If Gillian goes to work at the crown then the most sensible fandom and those who have some kind of information because they know someone from the industry and said from the first moment that it was only PR had all the reason. I think that GA’s appearance in « The Crow » is not a proof that she’s not dating PM…I’m not saying she is, but we also can’t say that she wouldn’t do that, because, frankly, we can’t be sure of anything about her. After all, she’s « doing whatever the fuck she wants ».

True. But If she will indeed get a part on this show, I think she may clarify the situation because if not, journalists will go there on every interview, and speculate and it could be bad for her image. Accusing her of getting work done on her face is something, and we know that it affected her enough to tweet about it. So I’m sure she doesn’t want any paper, even if it’s only the crappy ones, to accuse her of couch-casting. As fans, we will know it’s not like that, but you can’t help journalists to go there, we all know that. 

So you’re saying that the only reason why Gillian would get a role on the crown is because she’s sleeping with peter? That’s degrading of her character and you are definitely NOT a gillian fan.

Didn’t I say the exact opposite actually? You may have noticed that I don’t believe at all she has any kind of personal relationship with Mr Morgan, hence if she’s getting that role, it’s due to her talent and who she is, and probably a little bit of networking yes, but there’s nothing bad in networking, anon. 

gillian hasn’t said a word about peter, no. but actions speak louder than words. she’s been by his side at all the important events in his life since last october, she held hands with him and nuzzled his face at the golden globes. he was pictured in her hotel room, he attended her book talk in london, she rushed from her own film premiere to be with him at his bfi dinner. she doesn’t NEED to say anything because those actions say it all.

So first of all, it was not her hotel room. There was no holding hand and absolutely no nuzzle either. He attended her book event with someone else, and after she posed on the red carpet with him at the BFI (like all the other guests did), she doesn’t appear on any other pictures. Besides that, there’s no longer need to mention the look on her face on every picture we have seen.
See? It’s a matter of point of view. Which means there’s no irrefutable proof that would make me shut up about this for good. So until you can show me this proof, everything you say and think about Gillian and PM is speculation. It isn’t more or less valuable than any Gillovny speculation. It is just the same, with the little exception that there’s 25 years of Gillovny history and only a handful of events with Peter Morgan.
So ship them if you want to, but just be conscious that it is just a wishful ship, nothing more.

i’m sorry but it’s not speculation when it comes to gillian and peter morgan. gillian said she’s not single and the only man she’s been seen holding hands with and attending public events with is peter. he is also missing in action right now even though there were two crown events over the past week which the other producers and directors attended so it’s natural to assume he’s with gillian.

Maybe you feel it natural to assume this, but as you said it is assumption, speculation. Until it doesn’t come from Gillian or PM’s mouth, until we don’t see them acting like a couple, it will remain speculation. It won’t be more real than Gillovny, or any other person you would want Gillian to be with. And as long as it remains this way, it is not okay to tag Gillian on your ship speculations.

People are tagging Gillian here on tumblr and wishing PM happy bday and hope they shared a cake. Wtf!

That’s really really really cringeworthy. I think we all agree that tagging Gillian on Gillovny posts is not okay, but I think tagging her on any private-life post is not okay either. Most of all when you don’t know what’s going on in her private life, when she hasn’t address anything, or talked about this man at least once. If you think you’re being supportive, you’re wrong. You’re just crossing a line.

I was so happy yesterday with the Audible news and then today I read that PM hasn’t been attending The Crown events and people assume he’s with Gillian in Costa Rica or wherever she is. I don’t want to feel sad about this and I just don’t know what to do :/ I want Gillian to be happy but PM gives me the creeps.

Calm down, anon. As you said, people are *assuming*. Assuming things don’t make them real.
There was one event about The Crown this week, for all I know, and PM wasn’t scheduled anyway.
I thought that reaching was a Gillovny fandom specificity, but seems like it’s extending to the Gorgans too.

Hi! I don’t know if you would care to read it or even publish, but I have met recently someone who work for TMZ… I didn’t want to act like a fangirl and all but from word to word I finally asked him if they didn’t hear anything about Gillian and PM because they were together at GG, etc. He said that yes, he knew about it and they even had some tips from people but as he said, « there is truly no story behind it ».

I’ve been wondering if I should post this or not, but in the end, I think I just wish you would have come off anon. Anyway… thanks for sharing and I hope it’s true! 🙂

Are you worried about BAFTA? Because I am, a lot. I think we’re finally going to have an answer, and I’m not positive that’s going to be the one we expect😞. But I want it so bad I’m wrong.

I’m not “worried”. Since the Globes, I’ve always thought the BAFTA would be the next event they would appear together, so I’m actually expecting that to happen. I’m just hoping really really hard that we don’t see anything we’ve already seen. But honestly, I don’t see that happening, so no, I’m not “worried.”
