I’ve been trying to avoid posting about all that’s happened recently but I have to say something that is really bothering me. I’ve been reading that someone has posted a screenshot(?) of a private chat.

Seriously WTF!!

There is a reason why those bloggers went to a private chat to share their comments and didn’t have an open convo on Tumblr. People are allowed to believe whatever they want. I did not and will not look at the pictures of that chat but those comments were meant to be just between the group. There is nothing wrong with that! I’m sure they had no intention of voicing those comments publicly. It doesn’t make someone a bad person if they are venting among friends.

I’m so sad at where this fandom has gone in the last year. I remember a great group of people who posted fun stuff about D, G and our favorite show. Now people are vindictive and flat out mean to each other. And the kicker is some of the people who are shit talking others are posting about being good, respectful fans. I don’t get it.

KINDNESS MATTERS. The world we are living in is getting worse by the minute – people on here should be banding together and supporting each other, not cutting each other down. Let bloggers believe what they want and feel how they want. If you disagree start a convo WITH THEM don’t blast them publicly to others. And if you can’t do that then unfollow. It’s that simple.

Hey, I hope you don’t believe that Gillovny was just an act…

Absolutely not. I think the communication around it could have been too far, because let’s be real, if not, we wouldn’t be so upset today. But Gillovny is true, real, pure and beautiful. And the day David and Gillian will realize that will be the brightest day ever. But for now, I’ll just try to enjoy their relationship, whatever it is, because of there’s one moment when Gillian and David don’t act and are they’re true-selves, it’s when they’re together. 

For science, the things wrong with the pic 1/ the dude in the foreground in the pink shirt, even allowing for perspective would be around 8 feet tall if he stood up. 2/ the guy to the right of him – there is a lump on the right shirt arm 3/ some peoples hair is being blown by a breeze, but the breeze seems to be coming from different directions and totally missing some completely. 4/ do I even have to mention the missing arms?? 5/ Gillian appears to have a square right shoulder Continued…

Continued… 6/ there are visible ‘cut lines’ (where an image has been trimmed) especially around pink shirts hat, lumpy shirt arm guy and Gillian’s square shoulder. 7/ the reflection in the table of the legs don’t line up…except one does, which is just…wrong. In conclusion, part or all of the photo is made up of different photos. Possibly submitted by the subjects themselves? And that’s just based on the naked eye. I think if it were properly scrutinised the results would be telling.

david texts her every hour before she takes the plane. when she’s home “12 hours. i love you.” when she checks her suitcase and is sure she’s got everything and is ready to go he texts her “11 hours. i want you.” when she’s at the airport she sees “10 hours. i need you.” she keeps smiling and her heart keeps beating faster and her foot doesn’t hurt that much anymore. she calls piper, then the boys and tells them she loves them. she texts him and receives “9 hours. i adore you.” she sits on a plane and wonders whether he’s got everything ready. the flowers are probably in a vase now. the fresh towels that were washed in her favorite washing powder. she can already feel the sweet scent of her favorite candles and if she closes her eyes, she can taste on the tip of her tongue that same wine that he buys everytime she visits. her phone is on a flight mode so she won’t receive any texts from him so she opens the messages and reads every single one of them every hour and when no one’s looking, she whispers to herself “i love you, too”. when she lands and her phone is back to the normal mode, it keeps buzzing as she goes to the parking lot. “2 minutes. i love you.” she spots his car and smiles. “1.5 minute. i want you.” he gets off the car and there’s “10 seconds. i need you.” and she falls into his arms and kisses him so strong he doesn’t even care she stood at his feet with her plaster.

You’re really a gift for this fandom. It’s unbelievable how much hard work you put in all of this. The timelines, videos, your anons. It’s a real joy to follow you and share my thoughts and concerns with you. I’m so in for the wild ride which lays ahead of us. Keep up the great work. You rock women.

he watches her as she struggles with her crutches. she keeps cursing under her nose and it makes him chuckle, although he feels really sorry because he knows she’s in pain. « wash off that smirk » she makes a comment as she comes closer to him. « i hate those fucking things. they ain’t no help. » he puts her hair behind her ear and strokes her cheeks with his thumbs. « and it fucking hurts, you know? » « i know, babe » he whispers and kisses her forehead. the idea pops in his head. he smiles wickedly

“what?” gillian looks at him and frowns. “what are you doing?” he places his one arm under her thighs and the other one on her back and raises her. “duchovny, are you insane? put me down!” she screams. he just laughs and comes closer to the stage. “david, really. put me down, please.” “no” he says and comes on the stage carrying her in his arms. she couldn’t be more red because of the blush but also couldn’t be more in love with that man.

I have been trying to ignore all this but silencing and policing is what some people want and I will never apologize for defending David. If you have to bring up all the stuff of 1998 David, who frankly I find many bloggers more insufferable than and who doesn’t even represent David anymore, to make someone seem so much better than that is not a real convincing argument for said person. And all of a sudden saying things like how could she even want David in her life anymore because he made a bad joke. Around the time he first separated and months before he went into rehab Gillian made a joke about being frightened by how many women he had been with. It was off the cuff but it was awkward as hell, shaming and kind of mean but it was also just a bad joke. I mean saying things like I have no doubt that David ended up with one of those girls in the hallway because you can only seem to view him in that way despite not knowing anything about the situation or his issues. You can forgive Gillian’s memory but he was dating Perry Reeves at the time and did so until 1994. People who have no clue but think they do seems to be the theme around here lately. Everyone banking on The X-Files not coming back because Gillian was not interested or enthused enough and didn’t care about working with David anymore must be eating crow about now. They both have said a major reason to come back is to work together again and why should it be any different this time around? No matter who Gillian or David are with or ever dating, they have both said they love each other and are important in each others lives and always will be, whether people like it or not. Around here the number one source of proof that David and Gillian hated each other is that out of context picture from the 1998 golden globes but has anyone actually watched the clip? Photos and gifs don’t tell the whole story and I wish this place could get in the habit of always providing a source.
