Yes, he did, and they were filming the ending but I guess it means they still have some scenes to film without David and Gillian. As I understood it, it was with Mitch.
Duchovny hinted that new episodes will get as experimental as some of the original run’s most memorable standalone offerings. He specifically mentioned the seventh episode, which was directed by Glen Morgan. “It probably has 15 or 20 lines of dialogue in the whole episode,” Duchovny said, later adding, “It’s really one of our more special episodes that we’ve done in a long time.”
And I feel like just this year, I’ve developed a whole new appreciation for the uniqueness of what people always ask me about and referred to, “What about your chemistry,” and, you know, “You got chemistry,” you know? But it was it’s special. And it’s a chemistry that often there are elements of it that show up when we’re, you know, side by side doing interviews, but most of it shows up
– “Not right now, but …” David quips, humorously, and Gillian smirks to continue.
Celebrating 25 years, makes me look back when I first met Gillian. It was during the casting, I was looking for some matches and she took them out and approached me, just like that, without saying a word.
