Do you have a theory on why not many public/press photos, with D&G in the same frame, haven’t been released? I don’t think they avoid each other, but can’t shake the feeling that it is done on purpose with a bigger PR strategy. But I can’t phantom why. It is so strange.

I really have no clue. Gillian is leaving so besides the TCA, we won’t get any joint appearances anymore. I’m kinda giving up on the idea that something big will happen in the near futur so it really feels like they filmed this show, delivered it right after and can’t wait for it to be over so they can move on for good. That’s a bit sad, but at least, the episodes are good. That’s something.

Again after TCA – is this the way to promote the currently running show? I don’t understand nobody in this process- especially FOX and their money in this current season!!!!Its really impossible for them to at least have photo shoot together? I don’t believe that FOX executives don’t want promo of them together….Thanks

They did the TCA for season 10 and they taped dozens on joint interviews, a photoshoot and many articles. This is the best way to promote the season all along ‘cause the articles and interviews will be distilled during the 8 next weeks for sure. This is very good news even if right now, it’s frustrating.

I am not upset that GA says she’s done. But I am very sad that David now is open to doing more without her. He’s always said he wouldn’t. More than anything I am livid that Carter is leaving this as a cliffhanger. And most likely, having Scully abducted or killed. We will never get that happy ending. After all these years.

I know that’s how everybody understood it but it when I read the tweet I thought he just said that The X-Files could continue to exist with or without THEM (which is utter bs but still is different than what you said). It didn’t occur to me that he was saying he would do more without Gillian. It seemed to me that he said if she was up to do more, he’d be okay with it and if she really wanted to stop, he’d be okay with it too.
I could have misunderstood his words, though.
All in all, Chris expressly said there won’t be more without Gillian, so there’s no real question here.

I don’t want to worry about Scully’s ending either because who knows what Gillian could have wished for. Actors are odd sometimes. Just like David wished Hank Moody died at the end of Californication, who knows if Gillian didn’t wish for Scully’s death and it’s not happening and that’s why she isn’t happy with it? The way we see the ending of the show and the way she sees it could be totally different.

Wait and see…
