It looks like they cut it out too, yes. Or maybe it’ll be in another episode. I wondered that too! 😦
Hey JHH, here are a few screenshots from the Russian promo. Thanks for sharing your positive voice. It’s desperately needed.

Visions Of The Future | Season 11 | THE X-FILES
Cast & crew of The X-Files take you inside the shocking reveal of the season premiere.
Yeah, we always have to wait 7 days after so we’ll get the real ratings with people watching on demand or after they recorded, but it’s very low compared to season 10. I think the lack of promotion and the bad critics after season 10 and for this particular episode didn’t help. The problem is that it’s very rare to see ratings raise after starting low so we’ll see what happens with the next episodes.
Nope, until the Walk of Fame ceremony, I haven’t heard of anything. I assume there will be more things next week 🤷🏽♀️
I don’t know but I don’t think Mulder has ever been so hot in the last 25 years and this is, indeed, an X-Files!
I guess Babylon didn’t happen, no. I’m not quite sure the whole season 10 actually happened, then Maggie would still be alive. 🤨
It’s okay to enjoy MSIII
I really enjoyed this opener. Probably more than I have enjoyed any mythology episode since Amor Fati, and easily one of the most exciting dramatic rides since Redux II.
No, it wasn’t a perfect episode. Mulderlogues used in a way we have never seen before and felt extraneous. The Mulder-Skinner tussle was dumb and even Mitch thought so. Also ¿¿dafuq Monica??
None of that overshadowed my ability to enjoy the episode as a whole. You know what did? You people. You were rude to Chris in the AMA yesterday, and spent all day trashing him here and on Twitter. You were chomping at the bit by the time the episode aired. I was ashamed of this fandom last night, and it ruined my enjoyment of this show. Both the run-up and the thing itself.
I blame myself, mostly. I should have just ignored it all and let myself ride out the afterglow of an episode I really enjoyed. And despite the fact that I think everyone is being dramatic and hypocritical about the big reveal at the end, telling people how they should feel about rape and misogyny is something I cannot and will not do. The only kind of instance I feel it’s okay to tell people what they should think about rape and abuse is when they glorify it, such as by shipping Rey and Kylo Ren which is 100% fucked up. I won’t stand in the way of people who are basically just saying “rape is bad.”
So I am ending my negative experience of this episode, right here, right now. This will be my last whiney post about it, and I’ll just ignore the negativity from here on out and try to refocus on why I loved this ep. Later maybe I will write a review, which will be mostly positive. Which those of you who hated it are free to ignore.
In the meantime, if you want some positivity now, Sunshinetoday had lots of nice things to say about the episode this morning. I also found this thread to be very therapeutic last night, and @therewillcomesoftrain reminded us that it’s just pretend.
Airing at 8 p.m., “The X-Files” drew a 1.4 rating in adults 18-49 and 5.2 million viewers. That is down approximately 77 percent in the demo and 67 percent in total viewers compared to last season’s premiere (6.2, 16.2 million). In fairness, however, last season’s premiere had the benefit of debuting behind NFL football as well as having the curiosity factor for fans who wanted to see the show’s initial return. “The X-Files” finished last season averaging a 3.2 and 9.5 million viewers per episode in Live+Same Day.
