The X-Files’ Annabeth Gish Just Dropped a Major Hint About Season 11

She returned for the sixth episode of Season 10, which revealed that Monica left her post at the FBI to work for “The Smoking Man” and his campaign to depopulate the planet. She was considered a “coward” by Scully (Gillian Anderson) and, although she did provide crucial information to stymie the spread of the Spartan virus, many Monica Reyes fans found her arc to be unsatisfying.

Cassandra Spender is returning to The X-Files for season 11!

I can’t help it but I am actually scared of what we are going to see from them this week. Between the birthdays and the first possible images from filming I am not sure I am prepared for what we may be in store for. And it’s making me sad.

Why does it make you sad? There’s honestly nothing negative that should come up right now. I think the darkness are behind us, we’ve seen everything already (literally everything!). It should be fine now, and we should be able to enjoy the ride of season 11!

The only thing I want for S11 is CC solving that fucking cliffhanger of hell and to give us an episode ala Post Modern/Ghosts Stole Christmas. And no Miller and Einstein. Although, I’m not sure about William (I just don’t want a teenager actor involved :/ ). And, idk, can they close the Myth arc? I also cannot wait for Darin’s episode.

Seeing the first BTS pics, it seems like the cliffhanger has been forgotten already, Robbie Amell is already in the cast of the second episode, and there’s no sign of William so far. At this point, a well-lit kiss scene is the only expectation I have. I’d rather have my expectations low and be pleasingly surprised than expecting too much and be disappointed. I’m ready to enjoy the filming, the bts, the promotion and the bloopers more than the season itself.
