Yeah, I agree even if I’m not completely sure it was fake. I do believe they’ve been together at some point. But we certainly wouldn’t feel as bad if she hadn’t been encouraging our ship for so long if it wasn’t true.
I guess there is a lesson for everyone dealing with public image in it somewhere: fake romance is always a bad idea and it always backfires. If there wasn’t all this hype about DD/GA « shacking up », twitter fuckery, kisses, shmoopie t-shirts, etc, I think no one would care that GA is witn PM. I mean, he fits much better with her previous choices of men than DD. Now I feel a bit sorry for her bc of the way it came out – that article have probably spoiled their vacation a little.
