Maybe to any other fandom, the more actors from one show, the better the draw for a con.

But if you are in charge of getting talent for your con…..listen up. The Xfiles is different. We only require two. David and Gillian. That’s it. The more you add, the worse it will be. Why? Anyone else will distract from the amount of time they have to interact. Someone from the audience may, god help us, ask WBD how he feels about water skiing and do you really think we care?

Or….someone may say “this is for any of you to answer….” NO! Do you want Mitch chiming in on his favorite episode when you know no matter how often we hear it…..give us all the Bad Blood Post Modern shit there is!

And whatever you do…..CC is not a draw! That dude is a buzzkill. If there are 3 chairs, dude will plop his ass in the middle chair.

Gillian. David. Two chairs next to each other with NOTHING IN BETWEEN THOSE CHAIRS. We dont even need a moderator. They’ve been friends for 25 years. They know how to hold a conversation. This is all you need!

You wanna get other people from this show? Then have 2 panels. One with everybody and one with just D and G. And watch which one fills up faster. The fans know. Don’t mess with their chemistry.

And this includes putting a curtain between their autograph tables FFS. Dont make @gillianaofficial tear that thing down. Cuz you know she will.
