I wanna correct the other anon. Gillian didn’t sign for only 6 eps because that was all the time the boys had off from school. That’s not correct. In England, and London specially, school continues all year. The boys would only have had August off. And like you pointed out, they have a dad who has to spend time with them. So of course she tries to spend as much time as possible with them, but their parents are separated, and with what she said recently too, I’m assuming they’re not best friends, so they probably have to deal with contracts and custody law, and I think sometimes, she has to be away from them when she could actually be with them, and sometimes, she can’t when she should. You assume that for the past couple weeks she could be at L.A.with David (and other times when she’s lost from sm you have assumed they are together) but my problem accepting that is that we are talking about a woman who could only sign for 6 episodes bc that was the time her sons had off school. Isn’t more plausible to believe that every time she doesn’t have work commitments and/or when we don’t have news from her that she’s with her sons at home being a regular mom?

First of all, because life is not a fanfiction and I don’t believe they spend every minute together fucking in a pool, I assume she can still be a regular mom and be with David at the same time, just like he can be a dad and be with her. 

Then, usually, when she disappears like that, I assume she’s vacationing somewhere. Sometimes, she’s “alone” (remember Mexico, and the time she sunbathed fully naked?), sometimes we know she’s with her boys because they’re spotted with her. It’s Easter break right now, so I guess those boys must be with one of their parents right now. So they could be vacationing with Gillian somewhere, maybe they were in LA when she was spotted there, maybe the whole family is in Costa Rica with Piper, or maybe they’re with their father. Gillian and Mark share their custody, so he has to be a regular father too. That’s something we usually tend to forget. Gillian isn’t their only parent and sometimes, she’s just not with them because that’s the way it is. 

Since we still have no news from her and we know she isn’t in London, my headcanon is this one: she spent two weeks with David in LA, and now that David has resurfaced in NY, she left LA to keep vacationing somewhere with her boys as she split the Easter holidays with Mark.

We lost track of her after the Red Nose sighting in London with Gordon Ramsey so I think she’s gone since then. She could, but it would honestly don’t make sense at all.
