it was established, by GA herself, that she is taking a break from acting, but how long do you think she’ll be on hiatus? i think she’ll be out of action during the summer months, but i honestly wouldn’t be surprised if she takes the rest of the year off. just out of interest, if there’s a second season of american gods, when would it likely be filmed?

I can’t imagine this woman being off for 9 months. It just doesn’t fit with her hyperactive personality. If she does it, good for her, but I really have a hard time imagining that could happen. I’d bet on a few weeks, a few months maybe, but even with that, I don’t think she’ll be on complete hiatus anyway. There will always be charity she will work on and promote, American Gods will start in April, I guess the UFO movie she filmed last year will come out at some point and she’ll probably do a little bit of promotion for that too. X-Files season 11 should be officially announced during the Upfronts in May, which should lead to a few interviews and events too. She might be working on the adaption of her books which requires a lot of preproduction if she’s going to direct, or write or produce or all three.
So with all that, she might have decided to slow down, but I can’t see how she can be on hiatus for the rest of the year.
As about AG season 2, I’d say Toronto, just like season 1.

oh no! So what will Gillian do if she doesn’t have to go to Italy?! She said that she cannot do nothing! I hope so she will find something! And I really was happy about this movie :(

She said she wanted to take a little break after the promo of We, so I guess she’ll take a few weeks off, probably not totally off because it’s Gillian and she never stops, and I guess she has other projects to work on that we don’t know about yet. There’s also the adaption of her books, hopefully X-Files, maybe The Crown, and probably a few others things. I guess she’ll be promoting American Gods a little bit too.

Gillian tweeted the picture of Lindt chocolates at GG this January. Which was in LA. Hence the US Lindt tag. I don’t think it means that she is in the US. I would kill to try those pumpkin Lindts though :P

Pumpkin chocolates seem to be the weirdest thing to eat, I still wonder where she did get all of them, I don’t know what it means, but that and the fact she tweeted right after a terrorist attack in London could mean she wasn’t in the country. Who knows…

Andorra movie

I got some anons today asking about this so did some research and it seems like Gillian will not do this movie (not in few months anyway). The info comes from Andorra’s production company Screen Australia. The movie is still listed on their website but with the info that they revoked the production funding. This is really fresh news and it really sucks. This is Gillian’s second movie which has been canceled/postponed in last year…

I don’t drink, I don’t smoke, there’s a lot of things that I don’t do that one might normally do to fill time and to escape. there were lots of xfiles fans at david’s la gig and not one of them caught sight of gillian, so to think she might possibly have been there is extremely far-fetched. if people saw tom kapinos and nancy collini (not that recognisable unless you’re a hardcore david fan) there’s no chance gillian’s presence would’ve gone unnoticed. i’m pretty sure she was spotted in london’s soho that day, anyway.

She was spotted in Soho a few days after the concert. People who saw Tom Kapinos, actually saw him in the street leaving, not inside the venue, as far as I know, and no one saw Nancy, she posted a picture on IG. So everything is possible… far-fetched but possible.

it’s 2017! Hello! How can Gillian say she’s never on the Internet? Does she live in a cave or what?

If Gillian’s house is your concept of a cave, I may have to reconsider the choice of my apartment.

Anyway… somehow, I think you’re right, and I think Gillian actually goes on the Internet like everyone else, but when she’s asked about it during interviews, it feels like her mind goes to a particular place and gives a predictable answer when there might be more to say. It seems like when someone asks her, she automatically thinks about her own social media and articles about herself. It could be what the interviewer means, but not necessarily, so it’s funny she always gives the same answers, more or less, when she could actually say that she reads the news, does research, buys stuff, watches videos, listens to music or whatever you can do on the Internet besides tweeting. Things that she probably does as anyone else, because indeed, it’s 2017.
I do think she tweets on her own sometimes too, maybe uses Instagram or even Tumblr when she feels like doing it, but she will never admit it, for some reasons. Same goes with online shopping. She recently said she never does it. But at the same time, she said during the wow panel that she does. A few months ago, she had even ordered a leather pants, remember? Somehow, on this particular subject, I don’t completely trust Gillian’s words, especially because the versions slightly change from one interview to another. It goes from “I have spies” and I basically know everything to when I need to see something I get alerted.

With a young adult and two young boys at home, it might be hard to live completely without Internet anyway.
