Why people assume the bracelet Gillian wears is from David? I remember reading somewhere that Piper bought her a bracelet once as a present, are there two different bracelets or people assume it was from David? I’ll try to find the interview and send it to u.

I don’t remember reading about Piper offering her a bracelet, but as this one is worth something like $12K, it’s safe to assume it’s not from her daughter. She started wearing it right after her birthday, which happens in the summer, that she and David spent in California. So yeah, I believe it’s from David 🙂

I just came across these blogs- I can’t believe people think they are together but it makes sense when you guys put it together as you have! I want to believe. But why do you think they are hiding?! Seems like a lot of effort for something that would be the cutest thing

It does seem like a lot of effort, but I don’t think they really “hide”. I think they mostly know where to go and where not to go. I think their relationship lasts for a few years now, and if you just google their name in 2011 – 2012, you will see that they used to be less cautious than they are now. There are plenty of sightings rumors at the time, and not only by fans but also from the press. Even Evan Handler tweeted a sighting before it was removed. I think they’ve learnt from their mistakes and learnt how to protect their privacy, but it doesn’t stop them from disappearing and reappearing very often at the same time or being spotted in the same city for no apparent reasons. 

A coming out would be the cutest thing for us, for sure, but not necessarily for them. If they’re happy living their relationship this way, they have nothing to win to go public. But no relationship can stay hidden forever… 

“The unrelenting kind of bleakness that was in the first album is not there, as the second album has more light in it. Less rain, more light.” What if David’s newest album is all a love letter to Gillian but he doesnt tell anyone until the last stop of his tour. So everyone is speculating and then before one of the songs he finally says « this is for Gillian ». then Gillian tweets a thank you with a picture of them together in response and thats how Gillovny is confirmed.
